Originally hybridized by Elsie Frey in the 1940s as part of her ‘Bird’ series in Santa Barbara, this gorgeous plant is incredibly versatile - able to grow in a large range of cultures. The green leaves are speckled generously with pink, and will display blue iridoplasts under lower lighting levels, creating a show-stopping rainbow of blue, purple, and pink colours.
