Hoya lambii

$75.00

This is a very sought after species hailing from the forests of Sabah, Borneo. Displaying extremely large, rigid foliage that has a contrasting set of textures. The adaxial surface is a soft matte texture, with the abaxial surface being pubescent and velvety. A very tactile plant with leaves that are lovely to the touch.

The growth habit is unique with the large leaves clustering, creating a funnel that naturally catches leaf litter, debris and roots, which have evolved a symbiosis with ants. Blooms are a large ball that are yellow and mottled purple before opening, when open they are yelllow. Blooms have an extremely pungent fragrance that you either love or hate, as it has an incredible similarity to clove oil.

Please note that you may not receive the exact plant shown in the photo, but you will receive one of similar sizing.
